Indigenizing the ZACC 2026: Resistance - Resilience - Renewal
Leaders in the Indigenous art community in partnership with the ZACC are seeking artwork to be shown in the ZACC Main Gallery and Blackfoot Communications Gallery on the theme 'Resistance - Resilience - Renewal'. This art call is open to all Indigenous People.
The gallery opening will take place on First Friday, November 6, 2026 from 5-9 PM, with an Indigenous maker's market including many Indigenous artists with a variety of different types of work for purchase, Indigenous Artists in all three ZACC Galleries, and music performances in the ZACC Show Room. Artwork will be displayed in the galleries through Sunday, November 29. More event details will follow!
Art Call Information
(Opportunity for Indigenous Artists) We are accepting artwork of every medium and all skill levels. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for exhibition.
We will be exhibiting work in both the Main Gallery and the Blackfoot Communications Gallery. The Main Gallery is open to all submissions, the Blackfoot Communications Gallery will be open to Two Spirit submissions.
100% of the proceeds from any sale of art will be paid back to the artist.
Deadline to apply: Monday, October 26. Art Drop Off: October 26 through November 4, 2024 Gallery Opening: First Friday, November 6, as part of Indigenizing the ZACC.
